This role is responsible for coordinating technical work, supporting project planning and execution, and ensuring alignment between engineering teams, project management, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with experience in project coordination, engineering support, and working in complex industrial or nuclear environments.
Responsibilities
- Support project planning, execution, and closeout activities across multiple projects
- Coordinate with engineering teams to track deliverables, schedules, and milestones
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Support preparation and review of technical documents, reports, and project deliverables
- Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met
- Track project progress and identify risks, issues, and potential impacts to schedule or cost
- Support change management, including scope changes and documentation updates
- Assist with procurement coordination, vendor communication, and equipment tracking
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Support continuous improvement efforts and process documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 3–8 years of experience in engineering, project engineering, or project management
- Experience supporting projects in industrial, manufacturing, or regulated environments
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nuclear, DOE, or highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, or cost tracking
- Experience with equipment design, fabrication, or process systems
- Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
