Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day information technology (IT) operations. Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems by answering users' questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist in the areas of installation and configuration of computer hardware/software, Microsoft 365/Azure administration and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide help desk support and specialized technical assistance to system users, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Answer IT questions/calls/emails and directs inquiries to appropriate staff as required.
  • Assist with system support such as user account creation, installation and maintenance of network printers, management of disk space, software updates, etc.
  • Assist with administering IT onboarding of new employees, including collecting requirements, setup, and deployment of hardware and software.
  • Assist with the setup of new computers.
  • Assist with installation and configuration of computer software.
  • Provide audio-visual technology setup for events.
  • Maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network.
  • Support and maintain company data and technological infrastructure as directed.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets such as laptops, monitors, network equipment, printers, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11 preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of common desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Teams, web browsers).
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Basic knowledge of mobile device operating systems (iOS, Android).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy principles.
  • Familiarity with IT support concepts, such as troubleshooting hardware (PCs, printers) and software issues.

Additional Skills:
  • Strong desire to learn Windows administration tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn through hands-on tasks.
  • Conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to assist users and document work.
